I drove to Scranton today. I met Avery. I delivered Lexus and Leloo to her. She drove them south to Washington D.C. where they lived in the late 90's for a little while. Now my house is empty. My roommate moved out November 1st. My cats are gone. I have five bedrooms and I'm here alone. Arjan is over hanging out. We're having pop corn and watching lost and the cats aren't creeping all over us. It is a new day in a new year.

I came back from my BNI meeting this morning to find the following:
One month (and just three posts ago) I wrote about how the cats pulled a plant out of a cup on Avery's desk and drank all of the water - without tipping over the cup. Read here: http://ithacaishome.typepad.com/ithaca_is_home/2005/02/the_princess_an.html
In response Avery put the cup on a bookshelf in our bedroom high in the air away from the cats. Today they struck back, taking out the plant, but not taking the cup down. What that plant did to those cats I will probably never know. Those cats!
Our two lovable cats do what cats do - sleep all day. They also do what some dogs do - drink water from places they shouldn't. They have a water bowl that is changed and filled twice a day, but still they insist on drinking out of the plant on Avery's desk. Here are two pictures of the kitties where they have been all day sleeping with the exception of five minutes of running around when I was making lunch.
And here is the work of the devil cats...
They usually illegally drink out of this cup by slurping around the plant, today they pulled the plant out of the cup and drank the water all the way to the bottom! There is not a single ounce of water in the cup. Bad kitties!
