The post in which mom emails about their journey around America and photos of fried foods

BJ Hill is walking across the country (California to Boston). Meanwhile, my parents are driving around the country (Florida to Cape Cod). Mom just emailed from the pan handle of Florida with a few photos and their plan.

Their trip includes stops in Florida, Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, South Dakota, Illinois and ??? (as time permits). More than likely the RV will also pass through: Alabama, Mississippi, Minnesota (or Iowa), Indiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania (or Michigan and Ontario), and New York before finally arriving in Massachusetts. There's always the chance for a rare Illinois - Kentucky - Virginia - Maryland - Delaware - New Jersey - Manhattan - West Chester - Connecticut route to avoid Dryden. But I think they'll stop by the greater Ithaca area sometime in the next 60 days.

As the photos date-stamp says - - they missed Fried Food Friday by just one day, although in their email travelogue they had oysters on Sunday the 20th. Perhaps this is this decade's flashing 12:00 on the vcr.
