Absolutely do what you believe!
I just met a gentleman who used to own a home in the Town of Dryden and recently sold his home and moved into a rental property in the Town of Caroline.
The reason he moved? He lives on a road that if fracking happens will be a major corridor for thousands of trucks. It was a rural county road and based on his personal experience visiting his own family in Pennsylvania - he decided he'd rather rent and be able to move - than to stay and be stuck in an unsellable house.
He and his wife gave up and said it is coming and given that they have Pennslyvania based friends who have trucks rolling by at 3am every day - they had to move to protect their own pursuit of happiness.
There are doubts that the law I helped pass in August to ban fracking in Dryden will be held up. There are questions about the activity of the law as a waste of time, a poor investment of money, or a target on our (the Town of Dryden) back for being sued. We five board members absolutely did what we believed was our best action to help the people in our town.
I wish there was more we could do to help this home owner stay in Dryden.
